If this works we will move forward with more research.B) We are going to ask a few short questions about the Theatre and what is important with the theatrea. On a scale of one to five how important are the following when selecting a theatre 1 being least important and 5 being very important.i. How important is the price of the movie when selecting a theatre?ii. Is location important when selecting a theatre, distance wise?iii. Is the theatre environment important?iv. Is the area and surrounding business important?v. How important is the advertising about the theatre that you see?vi. How important is the parking at the theatre?vii. How important is getting your friends involved with a theatre decision if you are interested in a theatre?b. How interested are you in seeing non mainstream movies/ pop-culture movies?ii. For this, I plan to take the information from the winning groups marketing proposal and come up with my own plan for marketing the Fargo Theatre to NDSU students in the most cost effective yet bold way that I can. First I will do several drafts and have myself and maybe Doc or one other student from my group read over it to see if I am on the right track. Next, any revisions will be made to make sure that I am keeping a flow throughout the report. This is to ensure that I am getting my point across to the Fargo Theatre in creating the best possible outcome from a students perspective. Last the final draft will be printed and e-mailed to Doc on or before May 1st. For this assignment, I think we will need to focus primarily on what its going to take to get NDSU students into the Fargo Theatre atmosphere. Many focus groups with different people, maybe more survey's for this specific age group only but mostly WHAT its going to take to get students to get involved. &lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;I think the biggest thing is to put as many ideas out there that we can think of when it comes to coupons, food sales, getting restaurants involved, or just supporting businesses in the downtown area. If we can do this right off the bat, I think it will get the ball rolling right away.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Also, I think that there just needs to be better advertisement for the Fargo Theatre at the college. Margie said they spend numerous amounts of money through the Fargo Forum and what not, but most college students don't read or receive the paper so it doesn't help out the situation at all.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;I think that our best solution for the Fargo Theatre would be to get on the ball asap and figure out what students want and what would work the best using small focus groups. If I don't have my own store, I hope that I am working in the marketing field, buying products for an Interior Decorating company. Whether this be something like Pottery Barn, Pier 1 Imports or something smaller and more locally owned. Interior Merchandising is what I plan on doing after I am done with school so the quicker I get get started in the industry, the faster I can get into the flow of business and open up my own busines&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For my job search plan, networking seems to be the best way to go. Getting my name out there and getting to know people early on in the industry is never a bad thing. Getting myself into organizations that have to do with retail merchandising is what I plan on doing right now that I am in college and keep that process going throughout the rest of my career plans. There are many opportunities for getting involved in organizations particularily through schooling and teachers that were in the field prior to education.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Salaries: Retail Merchandising goes anywhere from starting at 40,000 to 55,000.
